About Us

Fred and Alan Busch each bring four decades of leadership in the Financial Services Industry to the Smarter Retirement Solutions Team. Natives of Michigan, Alan and Fred moved to Florida in 1975 and began their lifelong calling of serving clients with integrity and insight. In 1983 they opened what is now Smarter Retirement Solutions in Tampa Bay, Florida and have been specializing in Retirement and Income Planning ever since. Both of these Michigan boys married girls named Susan and each family has been very active in their local churches and communities.

John lived and worked in Tampa Bay for nearly a decade before expanding his business efforts to include Orlando and the balance of Central Florida. As a Marine Officer, radio host, public speaker and Investment Advisor Representative, John strives to break down complex financial strategies into easy to use steps for clients to maximize their retirement assets. John also overseas the expansion of the Smarter Retirement Solutions offices around the country.

Jonathan loves the details and our clients love his passion for precision.  After serving in the United States Army, Jonathan joined the family business and developed a deep understanding of numerous investment vehicles and how to properly integrate those financial instruments into our clients’ overall All Seasons Retirement Income Programs. Jonathan leads the team in Colorado and serves clients across the entire Front Range.

Stacey directs our firm’s client interaction and success programs. She is the glue that keeps our team together. Stacey coordinates all of our public workshops, our client appreciation events and she superintends our communication and marketing strategies to ensure that all who interact with our team are greeted with a smile and feel a strong sense of belonging to a team of people that truly care. Stacy has been an integral part of our expansion into Florida, Colorado, Texas and beyond.
